February 14: How an Electrical Engineer Created Two Museum Exhibits for His New Hometown

Dave DePuy will present how a relatively recent full time resident to Truckee can bring their Silicon Valley experience to local needs.

Dave joined a few local historical societies in 2018 to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad in 2019.  This experience led to a footing for helping with the creation of the new Museum of Truckee History (MoTH).

Dave used his technical experience to assist with museum design decisions.  He became the primary creator of two of the museum's exhibits.

Dave will also speak to why the 1960 Squaw Valley Olympics were important to Truckee and how they influenced the Olympics of this year.

Please join us on Monday, February 14th at 5:00 PM online at bit.ly/YouTubeTSM. The event will be available on YouTube as a livestream and after the event. Livestream for this event starts at 5:00 PM on bit.ly/YouTubeTSM, or log onto YouTube and search for Tahoe Silicon Mountain.

The audience will be able to submit questions online during the presentation.
