May 12, 2014: Nate Pearson of TrainerRoad.com "From Bootstrap to Business"

We're pleased to welcome Nate Pearson of TrainerRoad.com to present: “TrainerRoad: From Bootstrap to Business.”

Nate Pearson, co-founder of TrainerRoad.com, will describe what it was like to launch a business with $10k total investment while working a full time job.  He’ll share his experience with marketing a startup, talk about the technical aspects of the software, and explain why he thinks the time constraints he faced in starting TrainerRoad worked to his advantage.
TrainerRoad develops software to make cyclists and triathletes faster. Using biometric feedback, TrainerRoad produces workouts and cycling plans to optimize cyclists’ performance. They have had over 900,000 workouts done on their platform and have users in over 30 countries.  In just over 2.5 years, they have grown their Reno-based workforce to 11 employees.

More information about TrainerRoad can be found at www.TrainerRoad.com
